Topic Meetings
Unlike critique meetings, our monthly topic meetings focus on specific subjects related to the craft of writing. We use these to explore technical aspects of writing, such as characterisation, dialogue, plotting, submissions, marketing, and anything that can help improve our writing.
While the format of the meetings varies depending on the specific subject under discussion, the relaxed pub environment lends itself to informal, freeform conversations, allowing us to hone our craft with a smile, and often a drink in hand.
Time
We meet between 19:30-21:30 on the 3rd Monday of the month, although we often stay later into the night.
Location
Meetings are at The Good Intent pub in Puttenham, a couple of minutes off the Hog's Back, and just down the road from Wanborough.
Both Guildford and Godalming are 5 miles away, and Farnham is less than 10 miles away.
